My Values
My values shape how I work with clients and how projects are approached from start to finish.
I use graphic design to help organisations communicate clearly through simple, well considered ideas. My focus is on thoughtful, confident design that supports understanding and adds practical value.
Being open about how I work helps set expectations and build trust. It also helps create productive working relationships based on clarity, respect and shared purpose.
-
I work best when projects are treated as a partnership. Clients bring knowledge of their business, and I bring design experience and perspective.
Good collaboration helps ideas develop naturally, whether that means working towards a shared goal, exploring new directions, or dealing with practical details along the way.
-
I keep the process simple and focused. You will not be asked to spend weeks in workshops or work out what animal your brand would be.
My job is to understand your business properly, ask the right questions, and help you see what matters most, so it can be communicated clearly to the people you want to reach.
-
Hire agency-level creative without the agency bloat. Working independently keeps things simple. You deal directly with the person doing the work, and decisions do not need to pass through layers of management.
That makes it easier to move at a sensible pace and adapt as a project develops, without losing care or attention to detail.
-
I do not stick to one niche sector. Working in only one area for too long is a good way to grow stale.
I like drawing ideas from different kinds of work, whether that is with a larger organisation or a small start-up. The aim is always the same: to make something that communicates in a meaningful way, and looks good doing so.
-
Maintaining open and honest communication, I keep clients informed at each stage of a project. This includes being clear about timescales, costs and what is being delivered.
It helps build trust and avoids surprises, so projects can move forward with confidence.
-
I work with the goals of a project in mind, rather than treating design as decoration. Everything I create is a response to the brief, so the result is useful, appropriate and built to do its job properly.
